Adopt

We’re so glad you are interested in adopting from us.   If you are applying for one of the dogs we have listed on Petfinder.com, this is the process.

  1. First, you fill out the adoption inquiry.
  2. We will contact you for a brief interview.
  3. If your home sounds like a good match for the dog, we arrange for a meeting.
  4. We bring the dog to your home for a visit.
  5. If everyone feels the love, we either complete the adoption, or arrange for an adoption trial.
  6. After a successful trial, you sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee.
  7. You live happily ever after with your new best friend.

We rarely list Dalmatians, because people tend to fall in love with their beautiful faces.  Our mission is to find homes that can meet their unique needs.  If you are hoping to adopt a Dalmatian, please use the form to tell us about your lifestyle, and the types of issues you are prepared to deal with.  We use this information to identify potential homes for the Dalmatians in our care.   If you are a match for a Dalmatian in need of a home, we will contact you to talk more about your home, and the Dalmatian you might adopt.  We will provide you with photos and more information about the dog, and arrange a meeting.  If the meeting is successful, we will arrange a home visit and trial stay before finalizing the adoption.

Adoption fees

  • Dogs younger than 10 years — $200
  • Dogs 10 years and older — $100

    If you would like to adopt a Dalmatian, please fill out this section. Most of the Dalmatians have specific needs. We use this information to identify candidate homes for the dogs in our care.
